What a lovely morning I have had! I'm sat in the office and hear Reception room outside full of excitement and giggles so I decided to go and join them!
Steph and Cat explained they are doing their PE lesson and today it's an obstacle course which will help support the children's gross motor skills, enhance their spatial awareness and help the children learn to negotiate space, speed and movement.
The children were amazing at using their listening skills and were able to recall the instructions to complete the obstacle course.
Before starting, the children explained they needed to warm up and get their bodies ready. They confidently told me they need to do 5 star jumps, spin around and do stretches to warm up. The children even supported me to complete the obstacle course by telling me what I needed to do at each stage.
